The Mansfield Forward BID Member Monthly Newsletter, November 2026. We climbed Snowdon in aid of the Children's Bereavement Centre.
Jay Rowlinson: We are here for you, so please use us.
I hope this finds you well. October was a busy month for the BID team, and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who came down and supported our Oktoberfest on West Gate, and to all of you who backed our charity climb up Snowdon for the Children's Bereavement Centre. The support from our town centre businesses never fails to amaze me.
This month we have given our website a new members' homepage, built around you and the services your levy pays for, so you can find what you need and get help quickly. And for Christmas, we are going to be launching a shoppers & visitors homepage on our site under our Mansfield NOW brand, to help people find their way around the town centre and to your door. You can read more about both inside.
Many of you will have been following last week's Budget. Whatever it means for your business, please do not sit and worry about it on your own. Talk to us. The team and our partners are here to help, and my door is always open if you would like to sit down with me.
Work has now started on two of the key projects we set out in our regeneration initiative back in January, the demolition of Walkden Street car park and the regeneration of the Market Place, which is a real step forward for Mansfield. We also have a busy few weeks ahead, with our Gala & Awards Night and West Gate ChristmasFest both coming up this month, and I hope to see as many of you as possible there. Lastly, there is still time to vote in our Members' Choice Award, so please do get involved!
We are here for you, so please use us. I hope you have a great November.
