🤝 One Table, Real Action: New Town Centre Working Group in Motion

We’ve launched a new Town Centre Working Group that brings partners together, cuts through duplication, and tracks real progress. By working smarter and more strategically, we’re pushing forward-thinking, forward-moving change that benefits everyone in the town centre.

---

For too long, conversations about the town centre have been happening in silos. Different groups, different meetings, no clear ownership. That’s why we’ve set up something new — and better.

The Mansfield Town Centre Working Group now meets every two months. It brings together:

• Mansfield Forward BID
• Mansfield District Council
• Nottinghamshire Police
• Town centre businesses
• Key stakeholders and community partners

The group replaces several fragmented meetings — combining town centre concerns, anti-social behaviour updates, event planning, regeneration discussions and more into one strategic forum.

Here’s how it works:

• Actions are tracked
• Updates are reviewed
• Issues are escalated and addressed collaboratively
• Progress is reported publicly wherever possible

This isn’t just another talking shop — it’s designed to actually get things done. We’re seeing early wins in joined-up communication, shared resourcing, and faster resolution of on-the-ground issues that matter to BID members.

Forward-thinking. Forward-moving. All in one room.
